With the 2019 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting in January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2019 Spring Team Preview: Sciotoville East tartans

Team Name: Sciotoville East Tartans
Head Coach: Matt Miller
Division: IV
2018 Record: 5-15
Conference Record: SOC, 4-8
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 5/6

2019 Team Strengths:

  • Leaderships
  • Defense

Coach Outlook: "This is the third year for me at the school and most of the kids have been in the program learning. We started from the ground up in year one and started our rebuild, so this should be the year that we start to see the results of our hard work pay off."

PBR Outlook: Third year head coach Matt Miller looks to turn the corner at Sciotoville East. With five starters back and most of the pitching, look for improvement from the Tartans.
