Southern Wisconsin Open: Preview and Itinerary

The Prep Baseball Report Southern Wisconsin Open will take place Saturday, October 28 at STiKS Academy in Waukesha, WI. The Southern Wisconsin Open is the last PBR showcase of 2017 and open to all graduating classes.
The roster currently stands at over 50 participants and a full roster can be viewed HERE.
Meanwhile, there is still time to register and prospective athletes can REGISTER HERE.
Last year’s event hosted several ranked players from around the state, three of which made Division I commitments since. Pierce Blohowiak (Xavier, 2018, Yale), Nick Herbst (McFarland, 2018, Illinois State) and Connor Langreder (West De Pere, 2019, Northern Illinois).
This year’s roster looks just as promising with some interesting names from the younger classes such as LHPs Riley Frey (Oshkosh West, 2020) and Blake Read (Muskego, 2021).

Check-In times for the Southern Wisconsin Open are as follows:
Position Players:
8:20-8:40 AM
Pitcher Only:
11:15-11:30 AM
Catchers will stay for both sessions as they will also be evaluated while catching bullpens.
The event should end around noon for position players. The last pitcher should conclude around 2:00 pm.
