State Tournaments began Thursday at 7 different location in three corners of the state. Here are the highlights from Day 1 of the 6A State Tournament.

2018 Connor Noland picked up the victory for Greenwood HS against Lake Hamilton 4-2. Nolan gave up 2 runs early but settled in dominating the 4 innings of the game. Greenwood HS advances to play Sheridan HS

2015 LHP Cody Raymond picked up the win for Marion HS, when Jon Kent scored on a fielder’s choice to put the Patriots up 6-5. Marion advances to play Benton HS.

Evan Burris carries the load for Alma pitching 6.3 innings and hitting a 2 run home run to defeat Pine Bluff High School. Alma will play Jonesboro HS

Caleb Stutts pitched a complete game for the El Dorado HS to defeat Searcy HS 4-3. The Wildcats advance to play Russellville HS.
