On Wednesday August 8th, 2012 the Prep Baseball Report hosted an Open ID Showcase at Normal West HS.  We battled through the elements, faced some rain delays, and were able to see some good talent at the event.

The event was highlighted by Arion Worthman, a Class of 2015 middle infielder standing 5-foot-10, 190 pounds.  Worthman impressed by running a 6.79 60 and took an excellent round of bp.

Another standout was Jimmy Ward, a 6-foot-3, 180-pound RHP, who impressed on the mound, touching 87 mph with his fastball.
