Stock Report: 2014 SS/RHP Connor McHugh

Today we take a look at Connor McHugh, a 5-foot-11, 160-pound SS/RHP from Paul Laurence Dunbar HS in Lexington who is ranked No. 12 in the Kentucky Class of 2014 player rankings.

McHugh has a projectable, athletic frame with room to fill.  He displays soft hands and good infield actions with a plus arm across the infield that has been clocked at 87mph. 

On the mound, McHugh throws from a low 3/4 to sidearm arm slot with a fastball that sits 82-84 and shows very good arm side run. His curveball shows 10/4 action with tight spin. 

McHugh also shows solid ability at the plate.  He displays quick hands and good bat speed with a compact stroke.  He has a balanced set up and shows the ability to hit line drives to all fields.
