Team Alabama Future Games: Game Two Recap

From July 26th to July 29th, the Prep Baseball Report staff will run the PBR Future Games at the state-of-the-art LakePoint Sports Complex in Emerson, Georgia.
The 10th Annual Invitation-Only event will feature the best identified uncommitted 2025 & 2026 prospects from across the PBR Coverage Area in a four-day event at LakePoint Sports in Emerson, GA. Participants will be given the unique opportunity of competing against other top-level players while representing their respective state in a high-level atmosphere.
The Future Games features the top uncommitted players in the Class of 2025 and 2026 from across the Prep Baseball Report’s 40+ state coverage area. It is one of the most highly recruited events of the summer and attracts more than 300 college coaches from across the country each year.
This one-of-a-kind event will include individual workouts and three games against various competition across the country.

Nick Richardson OF / Oxford, AL / 2025Rankings StateRank: 26 / POS: 6
Uncommitted. 5-foot-11, 155-pounds. Lean and wiry build; tons of athleticism that translates. One of our favorite left-handed bats in the 2025 class continues to be as steady as they come and never take at-bats off. Coming off a Class 6A Championship this spring and serving as their leadoff hitter, Richardson impacts the game in so many ways, where it be working counts at the plate, stealing bases, or tracking down balls in the outfield. While his skill set may not just “wow” you in a showcase setting, gameplay has been where the rising junior has shined the most with multiple hits throughout the first two games and multiple stolen bases. From the left side, the bat-to-ball and barrel control are elite for a player of his age; combined with an all-fields, line drive approach, Richardson is a pure hitter with top-of-the-order traits. Also recorded a putout on a throw from CF to the plate with a textbook one-hop. Must-follow for Day 4 of the event.

Brady Wilson RHP / Decatur Heritage Christian, AL / 2025Rankings StateRank: 18 / POS: 5
Uncommitted. 6-foot-6, 220-pounds. XL frame with still much more room for added mass and should continue to fill out his build. Pitched in the middle innings for Team Alabama and worked a pair of scoreless frames where he allowed just two hits and no walks while striking out three. The right-hander drives the ball down the mound and showed comfortability in a mostly two-pitch mix and was consistently on the attack throughout his two innings. While sitting mostly 87-89 mph, Wilson showed the ability to reach back and grab a couple of 90’s and 91’s during the outing; the offering has late tail and sink when it's located to the bottom of the zone. He featured a mid-70s slider with late, downer action and was located in the zone and flashed the occasional upper-70s changeup with typical fade to it. Plenty of intriguing traits to like moving forward.

Tyler Woodham LHP / Stanhope Elmore, AL / 2025Rankings StateRank: 28 / POS: 3
Uncommitted. 6-foot-5, 200-pounds. Long and lanky frame; lots of projection remaining. High pitch-ability southpaw that will only continue to garner attention as he grows and develops over the next couple of years. The left-hander opened things up for Team Alabama in Game 2 and tossed a pair of scoreless innings. Pitches with impressive confidence and poise; loaded the bases with no outs in the 1st, and proceeded to punch out the next three hitters to escape the gem unscathed. While the fastball pitched at 80-83 mph, he was able to move it around the zone against a right-handed lineup and proved to be an effective offering. Mixed two solid secondary offerings for strikes with a 1-7 shaped breaking ball and a diving changeup that were efficient. Clean and compact arm swing that shows the impressive ability to repeat his delivery using a larger frame. Strong outing and will only continue to get better.

Tee Foster SS / Madison Academy, AL / 2025Rankings StateRank: 42 / POS: 5
Uncommitted. 6-foot-0, 180-pounds. Present athleticism and solid strength to his build. Looked much more relaxed today in the batter's box and took two really good swings that resulted in missiles into the opposite field for Team Alabama. After posting the second-best Team Alabama exit velocity during the pro-style workout at 100.1 mph, the right-hander continued to deliver firm contact to the baseball with a back-side single and a back-side double against a pair of upper-80s arms. Athletic and balanced setup with quick, simple trigger that allows him to be on-time; really controls the barrel through the zone and has a direct path to the baseball. Stays short and compact and looks to drive the ball to the gaps within his approach. Has also made some strong plays up the middle defensively, including a difficult charging play during yesterday’s game.

Joshua Henson SS / RHP / Buckhorn , AL / 2025Rankings StateRank: 54 / POS: 7
Uncommitted. 6-foot-2, 210-pounds. Strong-bodied frame and a good athlete. One of the top two-way prospects in the 2025 class in AL and has shown that this week. The right-hander has taken some quality swings so far during gameplay, but the arm was what jumped out yesterday working a quality 7th inning for Team Alabama. Using an ideal-paced delivery and use of his strong lower-half, Henson consistently worked 88-89 mph with his fastball that carried plane through the zone and played up a tick. Primary secondary offering during this outing was a 70-71 mph breaking ball that featured 11-5 shape and was consistently land in the zone for strikes. Strong back-end type arm that fills the zone up with both offerings. Has been equally as impressive with the bat with much more to come on Day 4.

Eli Bozeman RHP / Oxford, AL / 2025Rankings StateRank: 15 / POS: 3
Uncommitted. 6-foot-3, 180-pounder. Solid athleticism to his operation; possesses some strength. Logged some strong innings on the mound for the Class 6A Champions this spring from the bullpen and is expected to throw more next season. Possesses a really fast arm that produced a heavy fastball that operated at 86-88 mph and touched 89.9 mph earlier on in his outing. He can sink it to the bottom of the zone and get swings-and-misses or induce weak contact with the offering. While he worked mostly with the fastball, the right-hander showed a mid-70s slider that showcases some bite to it. Really challenged hitters during the outing with his fastball and will be a good one to follow closely moving forward with plenty of projection remaining.

Edward Mcleod Jr. 1B / St. Paul's , AL / 2025Rankings StateRank: 27 / POS: 4
Uncommitted. 6-foot-3, 230-pounds. Possesses immense physical strength and is one of the top power hitters in the 2025 class in AL. After a bit of a slow start out of the gate in his first couple of games, the right-hander did what he does best, blasting a three-run home run well beyond the wall in right field. We've seen the power to the pull-side in many viewings, but the ability to drive the ball for power to the opposite-field was really impressive during yesterday's game. Using a impressive stature and physical strength, McLeod looks to drive the ball with authority and create damage with nearly each swing, and looks to hunt fastballs early in the count. Intriguing right-handed power hitter that is a good one to follow moving into the final day of the event.
