• Kahiau Quartero, UTIL/P, 2017: (.287 BA, 3 2B, 2 3B, 18 RBI)
• Noah Ober, P, 2017: (24 IP, 3.2 ERA, 17 Ks)
• Wendell Mosteller, LHP, 2017
• Luke Shayotovich, INF, 2018: (.288 BA, 9 SB)
• Spencer Strobel, LHP/1B, 2017: (.261 BA, 5 2B)

 

Outlook:  Coming off an exciting 2016 sectional championship, the Orioles look to build off it for another playoff run this upcoming season.  Coach Drosche returns most of his lineup and innings this year.  Losing key starters Matt Moore and Mitch Ubelhor will be difficult to replace, but the Orioles should be able to score more runs this year. Noah Ober (24IP 3.2ERA) and Spencer Strobel should have a bulk of the innings on their hands. Noah Navarro (26 SB), a Ball State commit, should be an anchor at the top of the lineup.  Kahiau Quartero, a Marian commit, and Luke Shayotovich should also be key parts to Avon's success in a loaded HCC.
