It would be an understatement to say Greeneville has been playing good baseball all spring. The Greene Devils are 17-2 on the season and stand at 8-0 in District 2-AA play. In fact, Greeneville hasn’t lost in over a month and completed another impressive 4-0 week last week.

The week began with a pair of district wins over Cumberland Gap to keep their undefeated district record intact. Following a 10-0 win over Cherokee on Wednesday, the Greene Devils completed their week on Friday with a 4-2 victory against a solid Tennessee HS club. Greeneville’s pitching has been outstanding all season, allowing two runs or less in 12 of the 17 wins including eight shutout victories.

For their outstanding performance on the field, the Greeneville Greene Devils have been selected the PBR Tennessee Team of the Week for April 11-16.
