The Road to Omaha 2017: Pennsylvania HS Grads in NCAA DI Tournament

The NCAA Baseball Selection Committee announced the 64-team field for the Division I championships on Monday. In total, 56 alumni of Pennsylvania high schools, spread over 21 of the participating teams, will start their push today or tomorrow toward TD Ameritrade Park and the College World Series. A complete list of the players is below, along with links to follow their progress. In addition, games will be broadcast on Watch ESPN. Of note, all four teams in the Winston-Salem (NC) Regional and three of the four teams in the Louisville (KY) Regional have at least one Pennsylvania product on the roster.

What areas of the state are the players from?

20 - Philadelphia area (10 - District I, 7 - PAISAA, 3 - District XII)
16 - WPIAL
7 - District III
3 - District IV, District VI
2 - District II, District X, District XI
1 - District IX
