6-foot-1, 180-pounds, athletic lean frame. Pitches with an athletic tempo, a short arm path and shows the ability to repeat quality pitches. The most impressive part about Schulz is his advanced feel for 3 pitches to any hitter in any count. Utilizes both sides of the plate and will use one pitch to set up the next. The breaking ball spins right and it is a quality pitch that will show true curveball type shape. Schulz also shows a quality changeup that has great arm speed as well as late fade to the arm side.
