The Top Prospect Games were Tuesday and Wednesday at Arvest Ballpark in Springdale Ar. Below you will find the top performers from this event, at each position.

Top Performer

2017 INF/RHP Jaylon Deshazier: Deshazier stood out during all facet of the event. He ran a 7.0 in the 60, registered 84 mph during position velocity testing, showing smooth actions on the infield. He also had one of the more impressive rounds of batting practice driving a ball over the left field wall. During game play, his dominance continued collecting multiple hits in each game. On the mound he pitched 3 innings with 6 strike outs. His registered as high as 87 mph with his fastball but pitched 83-85 mph with late cut action. He complimented his fastball with an 11/5 curveball with depth.

C	Caleb Grace	Har-Ber HS	Defended well during games, showed plus offensive abilities, LH hitter
1B	Adrian Hannah	Searcy HS	Advanced left-handed hitter, with the ability to hit to all fields
2B	Justin Hines	Bentonville HS	High level defender with a knack for the game of baseball
3B	Cooper Van Kooten	Greenwood HS	Comapct left-handed swing with solid actions anywhere on the field
SS	Tajnick Bishop	Ashdown HS	Advanced athlete with inside out swing, multiple hits in game play
OF	Chase Bryan	White Hall HS	6.56  runner, defender well, showed to be a tough out and hit a home run
OF	Bryson Haskins	Ashdown HS	6.62 runner, showed advanced defensive reactions and base running ability
OF	Matt Goodheart	Magnolia HS	6.60 runner, LH hitter that kept his barrel in the hit zone recording multiple hits
DH	Parker Ribble	Magnolia HS	Physically strong player with advanced bat speed and feel for the barrel
