OXFORD, AL - The Top Prospect Games (Upperclass) was held on Tuesday, June 13th at Choccolocco Park in Oxford, AL. This event was an invite-only event that consisted of some of the top prospects from the 2024 and 2025 classes. These players went through a pro-style workout and took batting practice using Trackman and Blast Motion to record hitting metrics. Pitchers were able to throw in simulated outings facing hitters during gameplay and were able to get numbers and metrics off of our Trackman unit, such as pitch velocity, spin rate, horizontal & vertical movement & much more. There were some players who showed up and continued to build off of prior performances, but there were also some new names who jumped onto our radar with a strong showing on Tuesday.

Continuing our post-event coverage for this event, we take a look at all of the catchers from last Tuesday. Keep checking back over the next few days as we will continue to release scouting reports of all players present at the event.

Charlie Cassingham, Grissom  (AL), 2025
Positional Profile: SS/RHP
Body: 5-8, 150-pounds. Proportional strength throughout.
Hit: LHH. Balanced, athletic stance. Well connected swing, slightly uphill bat path.
Power: 90 max exit velocity, averaged 78.1 mph. 321’ max distance.

Hit: RHH. Balanced stance, quick hands straight to the ball, stayed in the middle of the field.
Power: 80 max exit velocity, averaged 76.4 mph. 216’ max distance.
