Over the next week we are going to countdown the 2014 calendar year with a look at the top ten most viewed player profiles of 2014. After drilling down into our Google Analytics we have compiled a list of the ten most visited profiles by you the reader in 2014.
Coming in at No. 8 on our list of most viewed profiles is Des Moines East's Chino Alcala. Alcala is a 6-foot-4, 220 pound, left-handed hitting first baseman who is committed to play at North Iowa Area CC. He is currently ranked 29th in the Iowa Class of 2015.

6-foot-4, 220-pound first baseman. 4.34 home to first time. Left handed hitter, pre-set load, closed stance with easy stride. Level swing path. Takes barrel to ball. Simple swing. Hit several balls hard and deep to right field. 95 mph exit velocity off tee. Ok actions at first base. Throws from low ¾ arm angle. Has enough athleticism to be more than adequate at position. 75 mph throws across infield. Big projection with current plus power.
