Scouting Report

8/19/18- 6-foot-8, 175-pound right-handed throwing pitcher.  Long lanky frame with room to fill out and add strength.  Worked from stretch.  Controlled balanced delivery.  Shorter stride at times and lands slightly across body.  Throws from ¾ arm slot.  Fastball can be heavy at 82-84 with some with occasional sink.  Slider has tight spin and late break thrown at 75-77 mph and can be swing and miss.  Change is straight at 77-78 mph.  Interesting 2019 follow.  Added strength gains will help development.

3/18/18- 6-foot-8, 175-pound right-handed hitting pitcher. #55 ranked player in MN 2019 class. Tall lean build with narrow shoulders. Early hand rhythm, high leg kick balance point, stiffer lower half, lands inline to catcher, shorter arm action, with ability to throw strikes. Fastball was 80-82 mph, jumped through zone, with arm-side running action. Shows late break on 11/5 curveball with feel for zone. Late diving action on changeup with solid fade. Follow in 2019 class, shows control of three pitches, and will require additional strength gains.

7/5/17- 6-foot-8, 170-pound right-handed hitting pitcher. Long thin build. Should continue to develop with added strength. Short stride down mound, avg. body control, lands hard across body, with short arm action from ¾ slot. Fastball was 77-79 mph with heavy action at plate for strikes. Shows feel for breaking ball with late action to plate. Showed improving feel for changeup with above avg. fade and sink in bottom of zone.

3/4/17- 6-foot-8, 160-pound right-handed pitcher. Thin tall build. Controlled tempo, maintains body control, high leg kick with slight back turn. Lands across body with shorter stride down mound. Fastball was 75-79 mph, touching 80 mph, with varying ASR and cut action for strikes. Above avg. breaking ball- shows ability to land 11/5 curveball with tight rotation and depth. Heavy cut action on firm changeup. Follow in 2019 class.
