Scouting Report

3/18/18- 6-foot-3, 190-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. #28 ranked player in MN 2019 class. Above avg. frame on mound. Fastball velocity plays up and rides through zone at 81-83 mph. Short fast arm swing and changeup played well with fade. Curveball needs development but has chance to be solid usable pitch in future. 7.02 runner. Square stance, leg kick trigger, rhythm in hands, line drive swing plane, drives ball well with mid/pull approach, 84 mph exit velocity. Active in field, above avg. footwork, comfortable around bag with ability to receive, soft glove, 83 mph arm across infield.

3/18/17- 6-foot-3, 185-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. Lean projectable build. 7.32 runner. Square stance, easy load, clean line drive swing path, works middle of field well, mid/pull approach, consistent solid contact, 83 mph exit velocity. Active feet, works down to up, soft glove, moves around bag well, 71 mph arm strength across infield. On mound; projects well on mound, long legs, room to add an easy 20 pounds. Short turn into athletic balance point, higher front side, with easy compact arm action. Fastball was 75-77 mph, touching 80 mph, with varying action and certainly has more in the tank. Has feel for tight 1/7 breaking ball with short break and depth. Late arm-side run and fade on quality changeup.
