Since June 7th, our boot-on-the-ground scouting team have seen 500+ players at showcase events, including the 2019 NYS Games. Already, 100's of players have caught the eyes of our professional scouting staff, all with dreams of playing baseball at the next-level. Several 2020 graduates have performed well over the course of the summer and now fall. The "Uncommitted Spotlight" is meant to cast a brighter light onto 2020 talent still looking for a place to call home next fall. * Players named are uncommitted to the best of our knowledge

CEVETTE'S QUICK HIT
CEVETTE'S QUICK HIT: 5-foot-10, 165-pounds with an athletic build, room for strength additions which will be needed behind the plate. Showed high-end athleticism for his position evidenced by his 6.93 60. At the plate he's relaxed, aggressive attacking the ball, compact swing plane with late lift after contact. Shows strong hands but had room for gains with his bat-speed, body has no restrictions. Defensively, wide base with soft receiving hands, quick transfer, throws from a high 3/4 slot with 70 mph arm-strength (2.08 pop-time in the showcase setting). Focus on overall strength will be greatly beneficial to the North Salem senior this off-season, look for his barrel speed and arm-strength to increase by this spring.
