Uncommitted Spotlight: 2020 RHP Jacob Lapham (Lansingburgh HS)

Since June 7th, our boot-on-the-ground scouting team have seen 500+ players at showcase events, including the 2019 NYS Games. Already, 100's of players have caught the eyes of our professional scouting staff, all with dreams of playing baseball at the next-level. Several 2020 graduates have performed well over the course of the summer and now fall. The "Uncommitted Spotlight" is meant to cast a brighter light onto 2020 talent still looking for a place to call home next fall. * Players named are uncommitted to the best of our knowledge

CEVETTE'S QUICK HIT: Stands 6-foot-1, 170-pounds with plenty of room in his frame to physically grow. The delivery is fluid and balanced, the arm-action is mostly clean with quick hand-speed out in front. The FB stays on a downward path, peaks 88 mph with feel for the strike zone. The curveball showed above average spin with 11/5 late-shape. Lapham has the tools to compete at just about any school in the Northeast.
