Physical: 6-foot-1, 155 pounds; Long, slender build.
Pitching: Brink uses a center rubber setup while using a side step. Mid chest leg drive with a slight coil away from the plate. Has a long stride while landing slightly closed. Moderate arm swing while showing some scap load, while working through a standard 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 84 MPH, while sitting 80-82 MPH; life through the zone. SL: 69-72 MPH; short action. CH: 74-75 MPH; fading action.
Physical: Lean, lanky 6-foot-2, 160lb frame with lots of projection left.
Pitching: RHP - Started off the far left side of the rubber showing gradual pace to the delivery; got to a medium/narrow stack position (slight hip coil) before separating with tempo in the arm-swing from a H ¾ slot. The FB entered the zone at 76-78 mph flashing heavy action down in the zone, mixing a sweeping 69-71 mph CB across the plate. Then countered with a consistently fading 70-72 mph CH with some deception out of the hand (1674rpms).
