The primary middle infielder shows quick active footwork, working around the ball to field. Sure hands with range, throwing from a long ¾ arm action with accuracy at 85 mph.

Martin is a 5-foot-8 165-pound right-handed hitting infielder in Kanas’ 2021 class. He ran a 7.08 60 and a 4.52 home to first.  He had a 91 mph exit velocity. At the plate, balanced set up, loads with weight shift to back side, short stride, level path with range in swing, swing produced gap to gap line drives during hitting evals.  On the infield, arm works from three quarters arm slot, quick to the ball with footwork, gains ground after the catch with smooth transfer, plays through the ball, mostly accurate throws, 84 mph positional velocity.
