Scouting Report
Positional Profile: RHP/OF
Body: 6-0, 164-pounds.
Delivery: Steady, more deliberate pace to delivery with controlled actions throughout. Stays tall on backside with a more verticle front knee lift. Shoulders stay level throughout. Shorter length stride helps him stay gathered in lower half. Big extension out front over lead leg.
Arm Action: RH. Tight arm path with fluid action out of hand break and into release. Stays in motion throughout and accelerates through the ball late. Loose finish from high 3/4 release.
FB: T83, 82-83 mph. T2128, 2032 average rpm.
CB: 65-67 mph. T2263, 2164 average rpm.
SL: 67-68 mph. T2354, 2322 average rpm.
CH: 77-78 mph. T1745, 1710 average rpm.
Positional Profile: RHP/OF
Body: 6-0, 164-pounds.
Hits: LHH. Balanced, athletic stance with lower half slightly closed off to pitcher. Front leg drifts back to gather weight on backside then gets into forward stride. Closes off lower half more at landing with cross action in his base. Firm lead leg block Hand placement above back shoulder to start. Limited movement but shows a deep scap retraction and big coil into back hip during stride phase. Hands stay tight to core and keep barrel inside of the ball as he rotates into contact. Gap to gap type power now with more lift likely as he gets stronger.
Power: 85 max exit velocity, averaged 74.5 MPH. 305' max distance.
Arm: RH. OF-83 mph. Long arm path with a full pendulum type swing on the backside and an aggressive finish out front. Projects well for future velo with a lean finish and loose motion all the way through release
Defense: Moves well to both sides while tracking the ball down. Controlled strides with decent length and has the abiltiy to shorten up and breakdown as needed. Side shuffle for added juice on the throw with backside coming through after release
