On Sunday, October 8th, we hosted the Fall Unsigned Senior Showcase at Grand Park in Westfield, IN. Below is a look at the outfielders in attendance.

Austin Kresl, OF/RHP, Carroll HS, 2018

6-foot-1, 160 pound outfielder hits from a wide, balanced setup. Hands load back, slight arm bar. Partial use of lower half. Slightly uphill bat path. Lacks extension. High exit velocity of 76. Defensively, throws from a 3/4 slot with some arm strength. Flat footwork, clean exchange. Average runner. Velocity topped at 85 from outfield.

Xander Lerch, OF/C, Fairfield HS, 2018

5-foot-8, 135 pound outfielder hits from a narrow setup. Loads into a crouch. Long, level bat path to contact. High exit velocity of 70. In the outfield, plays with flat footwork and clean exchange. Throws topped at 66mph.

Dallas Matlock, LHP/OF, Southport HS, 2018

6-foot-1, 185 pound right-handed hitter has a leg kick with long stride. Average use of lower half. Uphill path to contact. High exit velocity of 81. Throws from the OF topped at 71 mph. Ran an 8.01-60 yard dash.

Logan McClurg, OF/LHP, Westfield HS, 2018

5-foot-10, 160 pound outfielder hits from a balanced setup with compact swing. Stiff lower half. Level path, average bat speed. High exit velocity of 76. Throws from the outfield topped at 78. Plays through the ball with a clean exchange into long, loose arm action.

Alex Mitchell, C/OF, Decatur Central HS, 2018

5-foot-10, 150 pound catcher hits from an open setup featuring leg kick during a smooth load. Long, level bat path. High exit velocity of 75. Behind the plate, quick transfer and footwork. High 3/4 release. Throws topped at 75 from the crouch. Pop times ranged between 2.07-2.15. In the outfield, Mitchell has above average movements with fluid footwork and exchange. Throws topped at 82mph.

Austin Mitchell, OF, Decatur Central HS, 2018

5-foot-9, 145 pound outfielder hits from an open, athletic setup. Fluid load, slight leg kick with heavy front foot. Long, uphill path to contact. Average bat speed, line drive approach to middle of field. High exit velocity of 83. In the outfield, plays through the ball with fluid movements and high 3/4 slot. Average arm strength with accuracy. Throws topped at 79mph. Ran a 7.33 60 yard dash.

Colten Rozzi, OF, Logansport HS, 2018

5-foot-8, 160 pound switch-hitting outfielder ran a 7.1 60 yard dash. Hits from an athletic, open setup. Short stride, hands load back. Some rhythm in load. Long, level path to contact. Lacks balance. High exit velocity of 77. Defensively, he has a long arm action and 3/4 release. Throws topped 80mph. Flat footwork, clean exchange. Moves well, throws with stiff lower half.

Breven Sanford, OF/LHP, Northwestern HS, 2018

5-foot-10, 150 pound outfielder hits from an open setup with long stride. Smooth hand load. Flat bat path to contact. Line drive approach. High exit velocity of 77mph. Ran 60 yard dash of 7.23. In the outfield, plays through the ball with long exchange into high 3/4 release. Above average hands. Throws topped 74 from outfield.

Trent Weiss, 2B/OF, Hagerstown HS, 2018

5-foot-9, 160 pound infielder hits from a tall, athletic setup. Smooth load, toe tap into stride. Slight arm bar in hand load. Lower half tends to over rotate. Bottom hand hitter. Line drive approach. High exit velocity of 89. Ran a 7.01 60 yard dash. Footwork is quick defensively. Above average hands with clean exchange into release. Throws from all angles. Top velocity from infield was 76 and 79 from outfield
