Unsigned Senior Spotlight: LHP, Knox Batie, Lawrence Central HS

Batie is a projectable 6-foot-4, 220 pound left handed pitcher out of Lawrence Central HS.  He consistently works from the stretch position, showing a long stride.  His arm action is long and loose, throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot.  His fastball is deceptive, and projects to be a low to mid-80's guy at the next level. Batie threw many valuable innings last season for Lawrence Central, and expects to be at the top of the rotation this coming spring.
