Unsigned Senior Spotlight: RHP, Alex Crowe, Munster

Crowe is a 6-foot, 200 pound unsigned senior RHP currently ranked No. 67 in Indiana's 2013 class.  He possesses a strong build and from a high 3/4 arm slot shows plus arm strength with a fastball consistently sitting at 86-88 mph, topping out at 89 mph.  Crowe’s breaking ball shows good movement when he gets on top of it at 63 mph.  Expect a sharper break when he throws it with more speed.  He throws two more off speed pitches; a 69-70 mph change-up and a mid 70’s slider. Crowe’s mechanics are still raw at this point, but shows projectability.  He has one of the more lively arms in the class.
