Unsigned Senior Spotlight: Reid Kesel (Fatima HS)

Reid Kesel, SS/3B, Fatima HS, Class of 2014:
One of the most complete players of the MidMissouri Open ID Showcase and an integral part of Fatima HS Class 3 State Championship, the 6-foot-1, 165-pound Reid Kesel displayed good actions and sound mechanics in the field and at the plate, as well showing to have outstanding personality and efforts as a player.

In the infield, Kesel has a good approach to the ball, with soft and quick hands while displaying a quick, clean transfer. His throws were all accurate, with a top velocity of 77-mph across the diamond.

At the plate, Kesel has a repeatable swing with quick hands. He is very balanced in the box and uses his quick hands to produce a short, level swing with extension through contact. He makes consistent hard contact and displays some power to the pull side as well. His top exit velocity off the bat was 80-mph.
