Canton South left-handed hitting outfielder DJ Wilson (pictured right) continues to hold down Ohio’s number one ranking in the Class of 2015. The talented sophomore is already drawing comparisons to Austin Cousino, the standout centerfielder at the University of Kentucky and Dublin Coffman graduate. With a smooth swing, good pop in his bat, and plus speed, Wilson is widely considered one of the top Class of 2015 recruits in the Midwest.

Wilson will be pushed for rights to the No. 1 spot by four talented arms. Medina right-handed pitcher Austin Havekost checks-in at No. 2 with a 6-foot-3, 215-pound frame and a fastball that reaches up to 93 mph. Close behind, Watkins Memorial right-handed Chandler Day has a wiry 6-foot-3, 160-pound righty with a quick arm and upper 80’s fastball. Bloom Carroll 6-foot-6, 220-pound righty Sam Bordner sits at No. 4 with a big frame and mid to upper 80’s fastball. Lastly, Notre Dame Cathedral Latin 6-foot-5. 190-pound southpaw Ryan Falls has emerged as his class’ top left-handed arm after playing for the Midwest Redbirds last fall.
