With 20 new players, we give you the updated Maryland class of 2019 rankings. After a spring traveling the Old Line State up and down with our boots-to-the-ground coverage, we give you these updated rankings with the next to last installment. Our final update of this class will come in three weeks, right before the MLB Amateur draft on June 3-5.

Remaining on our top spot in the rankings is Calvert Hall SS Jose Torres (NC State). After a successful spring for the Cardinal this spring, Torres continues to be one of the most interesting prospects in the state with his combination of size, speed, and athleticism at the short stop position. Dropping out of our rankings is Thomas Keehn (Duke), who after spending the majority of his career in the top spot and not falling further than No. 2, graduated early and no longer classifies to our 2019 rankings.

Moving up to No. 2 is Marcus Lee Sang (St. John's) from Northern HS who continues to impress as well in the outfield and has become a hot commodity as another high school talent from Maryland who could potentially get drafted early in what has turned into a very interesting high school draft potential in the Old Line State.

Moving up to the No. 3 spot is Matthew Wyatt of Loyola Blakefield. (Virginia). Wyatt saw a big velocity jump this spring and with that increase in velocity he has also increased his stock as another potential high school player drafted from Maryland. Wyatt has been in the low 90's the majority of the spring and getting as high as 93 mph. His low slot and projectable frame will be hard to pass up.

Further movement in the top ten include Tyler Locklear (VCU) moving into the top five at No. 5. Also in the top ten include two teammates at Georgetown Prep, 3B Lucas Donlon (Virginia Tech) and LHP Ryan Gleason. Gleason remains the top uncommitted talent in the state after battling with injuries the majority of his high school career and a clean slate of health has proven tremendous as the lefty has been up to 89 mph with a legitimate breaking ball that should instantly play as a freshmen.
