We begin our release of the updated Maryland Class of 2023 Rankings this afternoon with a look at the Top 10. Be sure to check back tomorrow as we nearly double the list, expanding the Class of 2023 rankings to the Top 100 overall from across the Old Line State and Delaware. 

Locked in and holding strong once again in the top spot is University of Virginia commit LHP/OF Tommy Roldan (Georgetown Prep). Jumping three spots to number two is left-handed hitting catcher and recent Louisville commit George Baker (DeMatha Catholic). Maryland commit Cameron Johnson (Bishop McNamara) and East Carolina commit Parker Thomas (Archbishop Spalding) remain three and four respectively before the first of four new faces to the Top 10 comes in at number five.

In at number five is talented two-way prospect Luther "Lee" Ellis. Ellis possesses extreme athleticism and loose, live arm on the bump, most recently topping out at 89 mph at the PBRT Maryland Summer Championships as a member of Team PBR. Other new faces to the Top 10 include two members of Team Mid-Atlantic from this summer's PBR Future Games in West Virginia commit Andrew Callaway (Delmar), and Amari Allen (Sherwood). And sliding up eight spots to claim the last spot in our new Top 10 is another very talented two-way prospect, Cameron Nelson from St. Paul's.
