Zach Saxton 3B / C / Waccamaw, SC / 2020

5-foot-9, 150-pound thicker/proportional profile with strength in the lower half; 3B/C. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 85 mph. Worked the middle of the field with occasional pop to the pull side. Begins in open stance, has a small load and uses a short stride to initiate his swing. Good feel for the barrel with average bat speed. While in the infield, made throws across the field up to 76 mph; displayed rhythmic footwork, soft hands and a clean exchange. Had a loose arm action with a high ¾ slot. He clocked a 60 time of 7.33 at the event. Limestone recruit. 


 

 

 

 

Will Brackett SS / 2B / Waccamaw, SC / 2020

5-foot-11, 165-pound lean frame with good body control; SS/2B. At the plate, the right-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 85 mph. Setup consists of athletic stance and a smooth load. Has explosive bat speed and a flat swing plane, and he ends his swing with good extension on his finish. While in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 79 mph; had quick footwork, a clean exchange and soft hands. Showed a short arm action. He performed well in the 60-yard dash, clocking a speedy time of 6.81. Limestone recruit. 

 

 

 

Aidan Pridgen OF / 2B / Laurens , SC / 2020

6-foot-1, 187-pound athletic frame; OF/2B. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 84 mph. Began in athletic open  stance, had a small load and used a short stride. Displayed rapid bat speed, an upward swing plane and good extension on his finish. In the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 80 mph;displayed quick footwork and soft hands. Showed a long arm action with a high ¾ slot. The athletic recruit showcased his speed with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.83.

 

 

 

Reed Garland RHP / OF / Northwestern, SC / 2020

6-foot-1, 175-pound athletic frame; RHP/OF. On the mound, where he showed lightning quick arm speed to the plate, he used a consistent arm action with an over-the-top arm angle. He is a tall-and-fall type pitcher who uses high effort in his delivery. Throws a 2/8 shaped curveball 70-74 that has sharp action and some accuracy. His live arm produced a fastball that came in at 88-89 mph; and topped out at 90 mph; tailing fastball has very consistent accuracy and heavy action. His changeup (79-83 mph) was most efficient when pitched in sequence with his fastball; had plus action on his fading changeup. He locates his slider (76-77 mph) well when he stays on top. 


 

 

 

 

Teddy Allen C / RHP / Woodmont, SC / 2020

6-foot-3, 170-pound projectable frame w/ sloped shoulders and lengthy limbs; C/RHP. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 84 mph. Setup consisted of open stance and a wrapping load. Bat speed was quick, showed a straight-to-the-ball swing plane and a high finish. His throw downs to second were maxed at 71 mph; displayed a clean exchange and quick footwork. While in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 71 mph.  Behind the plate, his pop time was registered at 2.11-2.16; Showing very consistent accuracy to the bases, he had an-over-the-top slot with a short arm action. Good bend in the hips, received the ball with strong hands inside the shoulders and developing consistency on the corners. During the event, he recorded a 60 time of 7.66. On the mound, where he showed quick arm speed to the plate, he used a loose arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. He is a tall-and-fall type pitcher and uses easy effort in his delivery. He threw his curveball with consistency at 64-66 mph;  showed consistent accuracy and plus action on curveball. When pitched in sequence with his fastball, his changeup (70-71 mph) can keep hitters off balance; throws a tailing changeup that has slight action. His fastball was clocked at 76-78 mph. 


 

 

 

 

Nick Petit RHP / Rock Hill , SC / 2020

6-foot-3, 190-pound athletic frame; RHP. On the mound, where he showed lightning arm speed to the plate, he used a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. He is a tall-and-fall type pitcher and uses easy effort in his delivery. Throws a sinking curveball 64-66 that has plus action and consistent accuracy. He was clocked sitting at 80-81 mph; with a max of 82 mph; threw his tailing fastball with accuracy. When pitched in sequence with his fastball, his changeup (73-74 mph) can keep hitters off balance.
