Region 4A Championship
Grafton 7, Warhill 0
David Smith threw 5 innings of 2-hit shutout ball to earn the win. Colton Sandiford was 1-2 with a 2B, 2 BBs, and 2 RBI and Carter Hayes, CJ Whitten, and Brady Norris all had multi-hit games for the Clippers.
Region 4C Championship
James Wood 7, #22 Millbrook 5
The fourth matchup of the spring between these two was a back and forth affair that saw James Wood pick up its first win over Millbrook this season courtesy of four late runs. Jared Neal had the big 2-run single in the sixth inning to give the Colonels the lead and ended up 3-3 with 3 RBI in the game. Eli Miller and Nick Bell also had multi-hit games. For Millbrook, Carl Keenan was 1-2 with 2 BB and Brandon Mullins was 2-3 with an RBI.
Region 3A Semifinals
New Kent 6, Colonial Heights 0
Nick Redman tossed 6.2 innings of shutout ball while striking out 7 with no walks. Carson Seely and Nick Wiles were each 2-3 with a BB and Joe Batkins also had 2 hits and an RBI.
Lafayette 6, Southampton 1
Region 3B Championship
William Monroe 9, Meridian 3
A 0-0 game after two opened up quickly as Monroe scored three in the third and six in the fourth to take a 9-0 lead and cruise to the Region Championship. Talan Shifflett was 2-3 with a 3B and 3 RBI, Parker Hildebrand was 2-3 with 2 RBI, and Jared Shifflett was 2-3 with an RBI for the Dragons. Jayden Kirby struck out 5 in 2.1 innings of scoreless relief to close the game out. Jack Flanagan was 3-3 with a 2B and an RBI for Meridian.
Region 3C Championship
#6 Liberty Christian 2, #20 Spotswood 0, Suspended
The game was stopped in the bottom of the second inning and will resume on Friday, June 3 at that point at 3 pm.

Slade Keyser threw a complete game 4-hitter with 12 strikeouts while also going 1-2 with 2 BB at the plate. Wyatt Bunch was 2-3 with 2 RBI and a BB.
