Region 6A Championship
Manchester 11, #17 Cosby 8
This game started Thursday and was halted after the second inning with the score tied 1-1. A wild back and forth game took place when it resumed, with Cosby scoring 3 in the bottom of the seventh to send the game to extras and the Lancers scoring 3 in the top of the eighth to win. Dylan Jones hit a home run and went 2-4 with 3 RBI and 2 BB and Hadikell Bruno was 2-3 for the Lancers. Caleb Girzzard (Old Dominion) was 2-4 with 2 RBI for the Titans

Herndon 6, South Lakes 5

Region 5B Championship
Granby 4, #14 Nansemond River 3
Aren Miller walked it off in the tenth to give the Comets the victory. Miller finished the game 2-4. Sly Clarke was 3-4 with a 3B and 2 RBI and Buddy Baker struck out 8 in 4 innings of scoreless 1-hit relief for the Warriors.

Region 5C Championship
#21 Glen Allen 4, #16 Douglas Freeman 3
A tight game all the way, the Jaguars took the lead in the sixth and then hung onto win as Chad Martin and Jaden Kinsler (JMU) combined to throw 4 scoreless innings of relief while holding Freeman to 1 hit down the stretch. Kinsler was also 2-3 with an RBI and Cameron Slough was 2-4 with a 2B and an RBI. Carson Herod was 2-4 for the Mustangs and Ryder Warren hit a home run.

Region 5D Championship
#18 Riverside 2, #10 Independence 1
The Potomac District rivals are now an even 2-2 in their head-to-head matchups as the Rams took this one in eight innings. Kyle Johnson (Duke) homered and was 2-4 with a BB and Steven Trone (Old Dominion) went the distance, 8 IP of 5-hit ball while also going 2-4 with the game-winning RBI in the eighth. Bradley Gagen (Tennessee) was good for Indy, going 5.2 IP, 5 H, and 7 K.

Region 3A Championship
New Kent 8, Lafayette 7
A wild seventh inning saw the Rams storm back from a 5-2 deficit with 5 runs to take a 7-5 lead, only for the Trojans to respond with 3 of their own and walk it off with a Thomas Wilson double. Wilson finished the game 2-3 with 3 RBI and a BB and Nick Wiles was 3-4 with 2 2Bs, a 3B, and an RBI. Kevin Cole went 2-3 with 3 RBI for Lafayette.

Region 3C Championship
#6 Liberty Christian 13, #20 Spotswood 0
This game started on Thursday and LCA had a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the second when the game was halted. The Bulldogs would add 2 more runs in the second and blow it open with a 9-run fourth. Jackson Downey had a grand slam and Dillon Stowers also homered in the win. 

Region 3D Championship
#9 Abingdon 3, #15 Christiansburg 1
Jett Humphreys had a huge day, going 2-3 with 3 RBI and a home run while also closing the game out with 2 scoreless innings while striking out 4. Marshall Basham and Colten McGrady each had multi-hit games for the Blue Demons.

Region 2B Championship
Buckingham 8, Stuart's Draft 7
The Knights took an early 6-0 lead and hung on to win the game. Eli Bryant was 3-3 with a BB and Cameron Newton had 3 RBI. Trent Coffey, Dawson Jones, and Andre Ellis had 2-hit games for the Cougars.

Region 2D Championship
John Battle 6, Gate City 3
The Trojans scored 4 in the first and were able to make that hold up. Nolan Sailor was 2-2 with 3 RBI and a BB in the win while Brayden Cox was 2-3 with an RBI for the Blue Devils.

Region 1D Championship
Chilhowie 6, Lebanon 1
Matt Moore threw a complete game, allowing just 7 hits. Brandon Bush was 3-4 with a 2B and an RBI and Connor Smith was 3-3 with a BB. Dagan Barton was 2-3 for the Pioneers.
