Today we are releasing our fifth update to the Virginia/DC Power 25. We have four new teams moving into the rankings, as well as two new faces inside the Top 10.

St. Johns remains in the top spot and have some big challenges coming, with the WCAC tournament this week. The Cadets will face off with Paul VI in the WCAC semifinal series (best of three). If the top seeded SJC Cadets can take down the Panthers, they will then take on the winner of the Bishop O'Connell and Gonzaga series. 

Lake Braddock falls a few spots after a 11-1 lopsided loss to, at the time, a Robinson team that was .500. The Bruins will start district tournament play on Thursday.

Liberty Christian climbs three spots to #5, as they continue to dominate the Seminole District. The Bulldogs won three games by a combined forty-two runs and only allowed five runs in those three games. They will have two tough regular season matchups remaining, facing Amherst and EC Glass over the next two weeks.

Menchville is the third unbeaten team that resides inside the Power 25. The Monarchs have a light schedule in the Peninsula Disctrict, but they have beaten the teams that they have played and had the two toughest regular season games this past week with Gloucester. They run ruled the Dukes on Tuesday and narrowly escaped with a 1-0 win on Thursday.
