Every week, in our episode of Crabcakes & Baseball, Jerry Shank and Jamie Naill discuss all of the happenings in the world of Maryland and Delaware baseball. This week, they had a special segment to breakdown the WCAC Playoffs, which began with their quarterfinals on Saturday, setting up the best-of-three semifinals, which began yesterday.

In the quarterfinals, #3 DeMatha was upset by #6 Bishop O'Connell, and #5 Good Counsel was beaten by #4 St. Paul VI, ending their runs in the tournament. Paul VI advances to play its semifinal series against #1 St. John's and O'Connell will take on defending champ #2 Gonzaga. Both of those series got underway last night, with St. John's and Gonzaga both taking their respective Game 1s, both by a score of 4-1.
