A new week means a new Power 25. The Top 3 stay the same from last week as they all swept their weeks, with Hanover winning Saturday over St. John’s College on a walk off grand slam in the bottom of the ninth. The Top 5 again features five teams that have not lost a game to an opponent from Virginia or DC. Falling out of the Top 5 was Grassfield, which lost a 1-0 game on Friday night to Nansemond River for the Grizzlies’ first loss of the season.

Most of the rest of the Top 12 stayed the same, with Paul VI Catholic leapfrogging C.D. Hylton after beating the Bulldogs in extra innings Monday night. Bishop O’Connell jumped the most as the Knights continue streak and have moved into first place in the WCAC.

West Springfield had the next largest jump in the Power 25, moving into a first place tie in Conference 7 by defeating Lake Braddock Friday night. George C. Marshall moved into the Top 20 as the Statesmen continue to roll through their conference play.

New to the rankings this week are First Colonial and Prince George, both of which remained undefeated on the season. The Patriots defeated Princess Anne and swept a home and home with Tallwood last week and Prince George capped their week off with a win over Colonial Heights.
