PBR was on hand for parts of the 2021 York County Spring Break Slugfest, played at York Comprehensive HS.   Eight teams worked through a bracketed playoff with one team going undefeated at the end of the week to capture the championship.  Below is a game by game recap with player stats.

Gaffney jumped out early plating runs in each of the 1^st three innings.  A 5 run 5^th inning blew the game open for Gaffne to move into the winner’s bracket.

Down 3-0 after 1, Nation Ford would score the next 5 runs.  Andrew Jackson would answer to tie it in the top of the 5^th, but Nation Ford would plate 9 runs in their final 3 at-bats, including a 6 run 6^th, to seal the win.

Wild game saw 7 lead changes and a total of 12 runs scored over the final three innings.  In the 7^th, down 8-6, Gaffney plated 3 to take a two run lead to the bottom of the 7^th.  York led off the 7^th with a double from Trace Stowe and a single from Ryley Stout.  With two outs and 1 run in, Damien Callagy singled scoring Stout to tie the game.  Hudson Robinson singled to left, scoring Callagy for the walk-off win.
