Lake Central 12 Lowell 4
Marcus Rosselli picked up the win for Lake Central. Jimmy McNamara came in to finish the game for Rosselli and struck out the final 8 batters. Chase Fieldhouse had a good day at the plate for LC hitting two homeruns.
Rockford (MI) 5 Westview 4 F/10
Westview took a two run lead into the top of the 7th, but allowed a game tying two run homerun and would eventual fall in the 10th. Senior Zac Mishler started the game for Westview throwing 5 innings while allowing just 1 ER (2 R) and striking out 4. Freshman Judah Zickafoose threw 3 innings allowing 2 runs and 2 hits, he also went 2-4, 2 RBIs. Westview also got two hit games from Brant Yoder and Adrian Brandenberger.
Rockford (MI) 11 Westview 4
Michael Hicks had a good game on the mound throwing 4 innings giving up just 2 ER. Jamar Weaver and Judah Zickafoose both went 2-3 at the plate and scored a run. Adrian Brandenberger also picked up a hit and scored twice.
