What a week for senior RHP Chad Gendron (right) from Oakville HS, earning him Prep Baseball Report Player of the Week honors. For the week of April 25-May 1, Gendron posted a 2-0 record on the mound, throwing 13.2 innings, allowing nine hits and only two earned runs, while striking out eleven batters. One of the two wins came against previously undefeated (and ranked No. 3 at the time) Parkway South. Gendron turned in one of his best outings of the season, shutting down the Patriot offense, allowing only three hits and one of two earned runs he gave up all week. Overall, Gendron is a perfect 7-0 in 2011, allowing only seven runs in fifty and one third innings, with an ERA of 0.93 and sixty five strikeouts, all numbers that lead the Suburban Conference pitching.

Offensively, the Maryville University bound Gendron also shined, going 5-for-9 with two doubles, three runs scored, and two RBIs.
