Nick Martin, a strong-bodied RHP from Crystal Lake South HS, has committed to Indiana State University. As a junior, Martin posted a 7-4 record with a 2.76 ERA and 61 strikeouts in 63.1 innings for Crystal Lake South. Over the summer, Martin flashed upper-80s velocity.

Austin Zimmerman, a 6-foot-2, 175-pound RHP/3B from New Trier HS  has committed to Bucknell University. Zimmerman has been up to 87 mph and showed a mid-80s fastball at the PBR Top Prospect Showcase in June.

Sam Tidaback, a catcher from Providence Catholic HS, has committed to Ball State University. Tidaback marks the fifth Providence commitment in the 2012 class.

Michael Danielak, a long and loose 6-foot-4 RHP from Hersey HS, has committed to Dartmouth.
