Top Class of 2013 Prospect Commits

Shane Cooper (right), a SS from Timberland HS, has made a verbal committment to University of Iowa.

Cooper, ranked No. 4 in the Class of 2013, hit .390 with seven doubles, three triples, two homeruns, and twenty five RBIs as a sophmore in 2011. He also went 2-1 on the mound with twenty one strikeouts in 19.3 innings pitched. Cooper's biggest win of the season came in the District finals, throwing seven innings of three hit ball and allowing only one run against Rock Bridge, who had been ranked No. 1 in the state.
