Prep Baseball Report

Which seniors will crash their state's top-10 by the spring?

By Andy Sroka
Managing Editor, Scouting

The ‘Hotlist’ is a series that provides weekly insight into the high school baseball scene spanning the country, curated by Prep Baseball’s state directors who are situated nationwide, equipped vital intel on the prospects who play in their own backyards. Each week we’ll publish our ‘Hotlist’ on varying topics that are timeliest to the national baseball calendar at that point in time.

This week’s topic: Following the release of each state's Class of '24 Rankings, Prep Baseball directors were asked to provide us with a player currently outside of their state's top-10 rankings who could crash that list by springtime.

🔥The ‘Hotlist’ (Nov. 21):

Arkansas

+ Conner Cunningham, SS, Batesville HS, Murray State commit:
“Cunningham is a throwback-type player who plays the game the right way. As the son of a coach, it's apparent watching him play that he has a feel for the game in all facets. He has a sweet-swinging left-handed stroke that produces pole-to-pole power that's coming in as he fills out his stature. Look for Cunningham to have a big spring that should garner some attention from the pro scouting community throughout the high school season.”

Brian Walker, Arkansas State Director
