One of the more physical and toolsy players in Alberta is reclassed 2025 Dominik Morgan. At 6-foot-0, 205-pounds, the current strength is evident in his frame. Behind the dish, Morgan had an 83 mph catcher velocity as well as a 1.85 POP time. The dish is where he really stands out. Working in the air to his pull-side gap, Morgan maintained controlled aggression working up to a max exit velocity of 106 mph, and had 6 balls hit over 100 mph. As one of the top catchers in Alberta, Morgan has the makeup to be one of the best at his position on both sides of the ball.

The 2025 catcher stood out on both sides of the ball all weekend. Behind the dish, he had the strongest arm (81 mph) and best POP time at the event (1.85). During BP, he had a line drive approach back up the middle while maintaining controlled aggression in his swing, reaching a max exit velocity of 93.4 mph. During game play, pulled one the harder hit balls of the day down the LF line for a stand up double. Morgan has flown under the radar up until this point, but that should change as he cemented himself as one of the top catchers in Alberta’s 2025 class.
