2022 SS Dominic Palma (Cactus Shadows)- 5-foot-10, 160-pounds, large frame, proportionately built, has added some strength with some present athleticism. Right-handed hitter, sets up in a squared athletic base, uses a leg kick trigger, lands moderately hard on front side in a wide neutral launch position. Loads hands slightly up with vertical entry into hitting zone, efficient path, connected at impact. Balanced swing, used a simple gap to gap approach with mostly line drive contact, 86.21mph exit velo that should get better with more strength. Fields from a low center of gravity with quick feet, soft twitchy hands, aggressive to the ball. Short overtop arm action, follows throws, kept ball down, 87mph arm strength. Should keep improving as he adds strength.
