3/1/18 - UC Riverside commit. 5-foot-7, 165-pound frame that is thickly built throughout and has present strength throughout his body. Slick fielding middle infielder that projects at second base in college and beyond. Shows very good lateral movement to either side with the ability to funnel the ball out front and come up in excellent throwing position. Clean exchanges and glovework pair well with a strong arm that can make throws from all slots. Offensively, Sanchez shows a neutral stance with hands as his shoulder, uses a leg lift trigger to initiate his swing and his timing. Flashes bat speed through the zone and very good barrel awareness. Clocked at 5.17 home-to-first with a turn.
