Bay Area World Series 2022 - Uncommitted; Strong young body on sturdy frame, has bat talent that flashed as something to definitely pay attention to as he goes forward in his HS career, run tool is something to improve as it is for many rising juniors, OF arm is solid and approaching above average at 82 mph, wasn't able to be in attendance for BP at BAWS but was at a PBR event in January where he showed 97.1 max EV and 72.7 mph bat speed, both obviously impressive numbers, 21.9 mph hand speed, 71.4% hard hit % (balls hit over 90 mph), there is some hitterish presence in the box.

Positional Profile: OF/LHP Physical: 6-0, 180-pounds; Broad shouldered, athletic build. 7.80 runner in the 60. Offensively: LHH. Open setup, with feet shoulder width apart; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Short take back with the hands with a moderate leg kick for timing. Slides weight forward pre-contact. while showing a strong lower half. Showed a flat swing path with two handed finish. More ground balls than line drives and fly balls with a peak exit velocity of 97 MPH via Trackman. Young physical strength shows up, swing path had ball hit hard though a bit top half of ball, has ability to hit hard to all fields. Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep hop while showing active feet. Hands are off to the side with a seamless transfer. Long arm swing from a standard-3/4 arm slot. OF - 77 MPH. Sets up feet well on way to ball to get off his max throws on consistent basis, creates clean angles, plays with urgency.

South Bay Sports Winter Hitting Update:
Open stance with high hands and high back elbow; lifts hands in load staying tall and keeping the hands deep in the load. Hands are direct to the baseball with limited movement allowing his natural strength to come out. Barrel turn has times where it gets long behind the body and hand path can cut the zone, but the fundamentals for a powerful LH stroke are there. Frame is big and physical and as he matures will continue to add good strength to the frame. Will be a fun LH bat to follow over next couple years.
