8/12/20

6-foot-2, 170-pound left-handed hitting infielder. He had a strong showing at the event. He ran a 7.66 sixty at the event. The approach in the infield is appropriate as he moves his feet athletically through the baseball. The glove is soft and he threw 79 mph with carry across the diamond. The bat has an exit velocity of 90 mph. The setup is even in base and he showed a knee to knee approach on the bottom half during the swing. The hands work extremely well as the path is simple, slightly uphill to contact. He showed a high finish as well. During game play, hammered the baseball in multiple at bats, including a home run to the middle part of the field. The frame should fill out nicely as he will continue to get bigger and stronger.

6-foot-2, 145-pound left-handed hitting infielder. Ran a 7.74 sixty on the laser at the event. The approach in the infield is done appropriately. The feet and hands are active. Threw 74 mph across the diamond out of easy arm action. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 80 mph. The frame needs added strength to aid the development of the bat. The setup is even in base, uses a toe tap as the ball approaches. The hands work freely and clean, the path is tick long due to strength. Solid player to follow.

6-foot-145-pound, longer, thin athletic frame, neck is long, shoulders are squared off, has loads of room for added weight. A  right-handed pitcher, the arm action is super clean, hides the baseball well, working out of a 3/4 to high ¾ slot. The delivery is controlled, looks to work slow building momentum late, could speed it up sooner.  The frontside, stays inline, minimal pull with glove, stride is long and in line with target. The fastball reached 77 mph, threw both 4-seam and 2-seam, pounded both down to both sides. The changeup, clocked at 67-68 mph, with fade and action, was in the zone. The breaking ball was clocked at 60-63 mph, needs to have more fastball hand speed, shows to have proper spin and break action to it. Times to the plate were at 2.03. Strength, with added weight, will help in velocity jump, at this point is a legitimate two-way player.

2/17/19

6-foot-2, 146-pound, long, skinny athletic frame. The back is wide, has plenty of room to fill out. A left-handed hitting two-way player. At the plate, swing is smooth, level to up path, could stay through it a tick longer, creates loft to the swing. The approach is more to pull side, solid rounds of batting practice, had a tee exit velocity of 76 mph, with a ton more in there as he adds strength. Defensively, prep steps are advanced, gets around the baseball, works low to the ground, fields out front, gets momentum moving towards target. The transfer is clean, two clean shuffle steps, hands and feet work well together. The arm works out of a natural slot, clocked at 70 mph, good touch on all throws. The double play starts were smooth, open hip play made with ease. Off the mound, simple compact delivery, athletic kick, clean arm from a higher ¾ slot. The fastball 70-71 mph, located down in the zone. The breaking ball reached 63 mph, side spin at times with horizontal break, easy fix cleaning finger placement. Time will tell which way he goes, projects out to be able to swing the bat at a high level.

Tee Exit Velocity- 76 mph
Arm Velocity- 70 mph
Sixty-Yard Dash- 7.75
