Starts from an open setup, smooth, deep load action and maintains balance throughout. Flashed bat speed, strength through contact and routinely squared up balls to the pull side; 86 mph exit velocity from a tee. Path works short and uphill. Defensively, open setup, quick, clean transfer and stays on-line to second base. Short arm action from an over-the-top slot and throws clocked at 74 mph from the crouch. Pop times ranged between 2.04-2.18. Follow 2019 catcher. 

5.9.17 - 5-foot-11, 175-pound, sturdy lower half, right-handed hitting catcher, currently ranked No. 84 in the Illinois’ 2019 class. Offensively, went 2-for-3 with a walk. Open, quiet setup at the plate,simple swing, looks to lift and  flashed bat speed. Doubled off the center-field wall and also hit an infield single into the six-hole; 4.44 down the line. Defensively, above-average arm strength for his age, ball stays true and on a line to second base; pop times ranged between 2.03-2.15 in between innings. Follow 2019 catcher.

1.15.17 - 5-foot-11, 175-pound right-handed hitting catcher. Behind the plate has a long arm action from a high ¾ slot. Tall receiver in drills, gains ground towards second base on throws. Popped 2.00-2.08 and threw 74 mph from the crouch. At the plate hits from a balanced setup with a short leg lift stride. Pull hitter with an uphill swing path. 6.28.16 - 5-foot-10, 170-pound right-handed hitting catcher. Defensively, flashed a big arm from the crouch. Clean arm action from a high 3/4 slot. Clean, athletic exchanges, accurate throws on the bag, flashed carry, and clocked at 77 mph. Registered pop times between 1.97-2.08. Offensively, balanced setup, leg-lift timing mechanism, maintains balance throughout swing. Flashed bat speed, long, uphill bat path, pull side approach; exit velocity recorded at 82 mph. Also, ran a 7.51 laser timed 60.
