5/17/14 - Reportedly playing college football. Impressed with foot speed on the base paths (7.09 60 runner), and 2-for-4 3-RBI day. Hits from an open stance, and doesn’t get back to square, rolled over to second base on a slider and a fastball in first two at bats. Mostly looking to pull. Tripled to right center in third at bat, doubled sharply over center in last at bat. Pregame throwing was limited due to swampy outfield conditions at L-Way Central.

10/7/12 - Robbins is a 6-foot, 175-pound left handed hitting infielder. Defensively, Robbins’ mechanics are sound, fielding the baseball out in front and showing accurate throws to first base. His footwork is quick in the field, and ran a 7.09 60. At the plate Robbins consistently hit the ball to the opposite field using a flat bat path to produce line drives to the left side.
