6.19.13 - Clarkson is a 5-foot-8, 135-pound right-handed pitcher.  Shows some rhythm in his delivery and releases from a high ¾ arm slot.  Fastball at 72-74 mph, curveball with 12/6 action at 59-62 mph with some depth, and changeup at 67-69 mph with sink.

In the outfield, the 5-foot-6, 130-pound Clarkson took fundamental routes and played through the ball with controlled body movements and accurate throws (65 mph) to third base and home. At the plate, Clarkson showed the ability to show consistent contact. On the mound, Clarkson throws three pitches, a 71 mph fastball that was kept down in the zone, a 11-to-5 breaking ball (62-65 mph), and perhaps is best pitch, a 63-65 mph change up with some sink.
