FUTURE GAMES 2015: Up to 90 with his fastball. Drop and drive delivery, above average arm speed. Needs to show the ability to spin the breaking ball more consistently.

6/25/15:The 5-foot-11 175 pound right-handed pitcher showcased a fastball that sat 85-87 with some down action.  Control was erratic drew several defensive swings.   Cameron’s CH was 71-73 with some depth.   CB sat 71-74 with more of a late slider break.  Arm action is quick and loose.  Stride is long.  Drop and drive type delivery with good direction to the plate.
3/31/15 GAME NOTES: Cam has a good set up with quiet hands when receiving.  Arm strength is a tool.  Throws had carry and on the bag.  Between inning pop’s were 2.0-2.06.  Blocking was above average.  At the plate, he had a single over SS in one of his 3 at bats.  Bat speed is above average and load was choppy.  With added strength, he could present gap power.

3/30/15 GAME NOTES:
The 5-foot-11, 170 pound sophomore came into the game in the bottom of the sixth inning with one out. Pitching out of the stretch he sat 85-88 with his fastball.  Fastball was thrown for a strike and with life. Pferrer possesses a quick, short high 3/4 arm action with some effort in the delivery; high leg kick. He also threw a couple of breaking ball's at 67-68.  Struck out the only two hitters he faced.

5 foot 10 inches, 165 pounds, 7.21/60, 2.11-2.12 pop time, Athletic frame, works hard behind the plate, throws 75 mph to 2b with a long arm and on target. He has average hands, fluid feet and a good ball transfer. 85 mph from the outfield. Hits from a balanced stance with a short stride, hips explode and generate a fast bat with extension through contact, gap to gap type hitter. On the mound his fastball is 79-81 with heavy downhill plain. Curveball is 68-69 with early break. His delivery is short and quick from a ¾ arm angle.

Cameron is a 5-foot-9 155 pound catcher with a frame that is still developing. His greatest tool is behind the plate. Good arm speed with a whip that produced 2.0-2.12 pop times. As he cleans up the footwork Pferrer has a chance to be a high end catch and throw guy in the future. Receiving skills are still raw and will continue to develop with time.  At the plate, Pferrerr possesses good hand speed and hits from a crouch. The righty shows good balance, but mechanically still needs to be cleaned up. Cameron is a high follow in the 2017 class. Pitching: Righty with a whippy arm action. The righty throws from a high ¾ slot with a long arm swing. The delivery still needs to be refined, but the freshman has a lot of upside and topped out at 80mph. Pferrer threw an 11/5 shaped slider with a gradual break that topped out at 66. Pferrer also showed an average changeup that topped out at 71mph.
