6/21/16: The 6 foot 175 pound catcher showcased quick feet and a long transfer in throws to second base.  Pop times ranged between 2.00-2.1.  Throws topped at 71mph.  Offensively, Luke hits from a balanced setup and a back load.  Bat speed is average as he topped at 71mph in exit velocity.  Produced line drives with a level bat path during batting practice.

2/28/16: 6-foot, 175 pound receiver was 2.04, 2.05 and 2.13 with his pop times, 73 from the crouch.  Possesses quick feet behind the dish with a quick arm.  Tendency to stab at the ball while receiving.  At the plate hits out of a balanced setup, loads back.  Toe-tap, Long stride.  Average use of the lower half.  Average bat speed.  Level path. late rhythm. Line drive type hitter. PITCHING: 6-foot, 175 pound RHP pitches from a long, high 3/4 arm action with some stiffness. Shoulders stay level, good direction to the plate. Fastball was 74-77, touching 78 with occasional run.  Breaking ball has early action from a 10/4 shape at 61-63.  Flashed a couple of good sliders, inconsistent in the zone, at 66-70.  

10/18/15: 6-foot, 160 pound receiver was 2.40-2.55 with his pop times and 70 from the crouch.  Arm action is long.  Needs to quicken up his footwork and clean up the transfer.  At the plate hits from a balanced, crouch type setup and loads back.  Stride is long from a toe-tap.  Show  a bat waggle.  Recorded a high exit velocity of 71 mph.   

6-foot, 160 pounds, ran a 7.58-60 and was 71 across the diamond.  Average feet defensively.  Quick exchange.  Tendency to field the ball deep.  At the plate hits from a balanced, crouch type setup and loads back.  Stride is long from a toe-tap.  Show  a bat waggle.  Recorded a high exit velocity of 71 mph.
