9/10/17: 60 Time: 7.34, Position Velocity: INF-80, Exit Velocity: 88. 6-foot-1, 180 pound junior showed easy actions in the batters box with pull side bat speed. Quiet foot lift to load hands, front foot gains no separation landing slightly open allowing lower half to work fluid. Upright and tall through the swing, has more length to add in stride and swing. Hands work well to baseball, strong with twitch through contact. Pull side approach with some lift. Broad shoulder, strong frame in the middle infield, easy fielding actions. Fields baseball deep in center of body, short to long arm action with small hitch across the diamond. Pats in exchange, travels with the baseball to release. Quicker exchange and tempo to throw out plus runners. Average arm strength and carry. PITCHING: Broad shouldered, athletic frame on the bump with good presence. Easy delivery and effort down the mound, good length in stride, average arm speed with long to short arm action with hitch, needs cleaned. Fastball was around the zone, erratic at times, 80-82, struggled to repeat release. Curveball was around the plate, 63-67, pops up out of hand with gradual break side to down. Changeup stayed straight and thrown at 70-73, down in the zone and inconsistent.

2/25/17:  The 6-foot-1, 175 pound right-hander has a projectable frame with easy effort touching 80mph with the fastball.  Lower half has good rhythm and direction. Arm action is long with need of some refinement.  Finishes athletically.  Breaking ball sat 62-65 with gradual break, pops out of hand.  Change-up was 71-72 with some arm side run.Offensively, balanced setup with short stride and uphill path.  Good balance with average usage of the lower half.  Bat speed is above average.  Top exit velocity of 83mph.  Easy athletic movements defensively. Fluid footwork.  Clean transfer and quick release.  Throws topped at 76 across the infield.
